The Master Class program is open to any student whose teacher is a current active member of the LVC/PMTA.  The LVC/PMTA designed this program to provide our students with an opportunity to work with a nationally known musician educator in a class setting so that they may gain further understanding of music literature, instrumental or vocal technique, and musicianship.  Furthermore, we have incorporated this program to refresh and revitalize our teachers by providing them with new insights into the pedagogical process, with new teaching tools, and with new techniques for practice and performance offered by highly qualified musician educators. 

The chairperson will gather suggestions for master teachers from various sources including current member teachers and to create a minimum of two programs per year.

The master classes incorporate piano, voice, and a variety of musical instruments into the programs.  For the 2008-2009 season we offer the following programs.
