Any student of a PMTA member may purchase tickets for ONLY $5.00 each. There are no limits on these tickets and students of HIGH SCHOOL AGE do not need adult supervision in order to receive the special price. However, they must mention that they study with a member of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of PMTA when the tickets are ordered at the box office.

ALON GOLDSTEIN

ALON GOLDSTEIN is a pianist with a powerful gift for communication and his artistry has touched audiences and critics alike throughout the United States, Europe and Israel. He has been hailed for his original and compelling recitals in major music centers here and abroad and for performances as soloist with such major North American orchestras as those of Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, St. Louis, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver, among others.

PETER ORTH

PETER ORTH winner of the First Prize in the 19179 Naumburg International Piano Competition, Peter Orth catapulted into the American musical mainstream with a highly acclaimed recital debut in Alice Tully Hall. He was awarded the Shura Cherkassky Prize by the 92nd Street Y in New York and the Fanny Peabody Mason Award in Boston.

OLGA KERN

OLGA KERN Winning the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition made her the first woman to achieve this distinction in overt 30 years. She is a magnetic performer with one of the most prodigious piano techniques of any young pianist. She has a burgeoning American career of 60 plus performances per season. Her 2007 coast to coast tour with Vladimir Spivakov, and the National Philharmonic of Russia earned rave reviews in all 36 cities. Ms. Kern records exclusively with Harmonia Mundi. Her most recent recording of Brahms Variations was released in September 2007. In 2009, Harmonia Mundi will release an all Chopin Sonatas disc.

RICHARD GOODE

RICHARD GODE has appeared with all the major American orchestras (New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia, Boston Symphony, chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony and Cleveland) and has appeared with the Orchestre de Paris, Zürich Tonhalle Orchester, Berlin Radio Symphony Wiener Symphonikier, Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fkiels, Bamberger Symphoniker, Hamburg Philharmonic and countless others. He gave a major residency at New York's Carnegie Hall throughout the 2005-2006 season, entitled Perspectives, including solo and chamber recitals, Lied recitals and concerto appearances with artists such as Dawn Upshaw, Lorraine Hunt-Lieberson, the Brentano Quartet, the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and Ivan Fischer/Budapest Festival Orchestra. An exclusive Nonesuch recording artist, Richard Goode has made more than two dozen recordings over the years ranging from solos and chamber works to Lieder and concerti.
